Product Description

Serophene is an estrogen modulator prescribed to treat infertility in women.

How It Works

Serophene can cause the body to increase the levels of hormones like estrogen that induces the ovaries to release a mature egg. This process is commonly referred to as ovulation. Serophene can help women who have trouble ovulating due to hormonal problems.

For Serophene to work, the ovaries must be healthy enough to produce and release a mature egg. Women who are infertile because the ovaries do not produce eggs, conditions referred to as ovarian or primary pituitary failure, cannot be treated with Serophene.

Uses

Serophene is mainly prescribed for women with conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome, where naturally occurring ovulation is prevented. Women who needs stimulation for the pituitary gland to release hormones to ovulate are commonly prescribed this medication.

Dosage

Serophene dosage will vary between individuals due to unique factors. A doctor will prescribe the correct dosage of Serophene for you.

Take the exact dosage of Serophene as prescribed by the doctor. Keep track of a dosing schedule if you think you may forget to take a dose.

Take Serophene tablets orally. Swallow with some water if needed.

Serophene is usually prescribed only for 6 menstrual cycles. Long-term treatments using this medication is not recommended.

When taking Serophene, women may be instructed to record body temperature, time sexual activity and perform ovulation tests. Do these things as instructed by your doctor to get the best results.

Do not take double doses of Serophene.
