How do you know if a drug like Celexa is something you would benefit from using?
In order for you to know if you would benefit from using a medication like Celexa you have to know if you suffer from serious depression or some other form of mood disorder first. The best way for you to do this would be to look for serious signs of depression. One major sign is when you stop caring about doing things you used to enjoy doing. Some of these things can include the following:
You stop caring about going out to dinner with friends or family. Going out to dinner with friends or family isn’t so much about the dinner then it is about spending quality time with people you care about and talking with them about what’s going on in their lives. It’s a way to come closer and catch up so that the relationships remain strong and grow stronger.
You stop caring about pleasing your spouse. This is a big one, because when you stop caring about pleasing your spouse it’s going to make them feel bad as well. They’ll think it’s something that they did in order to deserve your treatment and whatever you were trying to build with them can come tumbling down. This will only cause you to feel even more depressed.
You don’t care to partake in any fun activities. These activities can be simple things like going to the movies, going to a concert, etc. For the most part you just stop caring about doing anything that would require you to take your mind off of whatever it is that’s causing you to feel depressed. As a result you’ll become depressing to be around and you’ll only make your situation worse.
Celexa is a medication that can help you to gain control over the symptoms and the imbalances that can be causing you to feel problems. It isn’t designed to make your depression go away overnight, but it can be a step in the right direction if your condition is severe enough.
